- 10th Degree Black Belt, President of the United States Black Cat Kenpo Karate Federation.
- 8th Degree Master in Tae Kwon Do Moo Duk Kwan.
- Master Beins started his training at the age of 13 under Master Raymond Gay in Lakehurst, New Jersey. During this time when he wasn’t studying the martial arts he was wrestling at Howell High School where he became one of the top wrestlers in the school’s history, finishing 2nd in the NJ State High School Wrestling Championships.
- Furthering his wrestling career he became the 1973 NJ State College 158-pound Champion and finished 6th in the Nationals.
- Since then he has hosted his own cable TV show Karate & You, which ran for over eight years.
- He has also been inducted into seven Halls of Fame and was the 1997 assistant karate coach for TEAM USA.
